Paul Wallace

Paul Wallace, a Nashvillian long associated with private-equity funds and Healthways, has joined Burton Hills-based Heritage Group LLC, according to his LinkedIn posting. Wallace declined further comment.

Heritage is home to the Heritage Healthcare Innovation Fund, recently launched with backing of affiliates of Community Health Systems, Vanguard Health Systems, Trinity Health, Lifepoint Hospitals and Iowa Health System.

Wallace, soon 44, was previously a venture partner at Boston-based SV Life Sciences, but had continued to reside here. Prior to that he was senior vice president for business development at Healthways; and, held roles including managing director and general partner with firms including Petra Capital Partners, Gilbert Global Equity Partners, Lazard Alternative Investments and GCTR Golder Rauner. Earlier, he was an associate or analyst with Overseas Private Investment Corporation and Bank of America.

Wallace is member of the Nashville Capital Network board of directors and serves on its investments committee. He earned his MBA at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University; and his bachelor's in economics at the University of Richmond. VNC
