ROCKMONT PARTNERS' affiliate Rockmont GrowthTech Fund I filed yesterday on its planned $50MM raise, showing north of $21.8MM in.

Brentwood-based Rockmont' funds and affiliates invest in early-stage fintech and health tech companies.

Founding partners Brian Fox and Bo Bartholomew have made previous filings, including one for Rockmont Investments I in May 2020.

Managing Partner Curt Futch joined in November 2022 and is based in Salt Lake City, according to his LinkedIn.

VNC research indicates that two or more of the Rockmont executives have been associated with investments in Evidence Care (Brentwood), Healthcare Value Analytics (Brentwood), Mindera Health (San Diego), Monitaur (Duxbury, Mass.), and OMNY Health (Atlanta).

Bo Bartholomew

As reflected in their LinkedIn profiles -- and as typical in the venture sector -- Bartholomew, Fox and Futch also hold roles in portfolio companies and-or other ventures.

For example, Bartholomew is also CEO of EvidenceCare, which offers an EHR-integrated platform. Among his community contributions, he was a member of the task force created by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce that led to formation of the Nashville Entrepreneur Center.

Fox has also served as a venture partner with both Nashville-based Caduceus Capital Partners and Atlanta-based Valor Ventures, and as a director of Nashville Capital Network, while Futch has held similar roles with Salt Lake City-based Jupiter Peak Capital.

Fox is particularly well known as the founder of fintech Capital Confirmation (Confirmation.com) that sold in 2019 to Thomson Reuters, for a reported $430MM. VNC Capital Confirmation coverage here.

Each of the Rockmont execs also holds a Vanderrce and Partnership 2010 that formally set into motion efforts that led to creation of the Nashville Entrepreneur Center.bilt University MBA or undergraduate degree, among their other undergraduate or graduate degrees.
