Frazer Buntin Silvercare Solutions, an on-site incontinence care provider, today announced completing its $3 million B-round led by FCA Venture Partners and Tennessee Angel Fund, the TNInvestco fund of Nashville Capital Network.
Proceeds will be used mainly to add regional account directors, nurse practitioners and clinical assistants, said CEO Frazer Buntin, in a release. Frazer said in the release Silvercare has recently attracted "strong interest from the venture capital market." Frazer told VNC there are 13 individual investors in the company, as well as the institutionals announced today. He said the firm does not currently anticipate executing a C-round raise.
Buntin, 36, was a senior director of operations for Healthways and director of operations for Dollar General, prior to forming Silvercare, and earned his MBA at the Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management in 2004 and a bachelor's in environmental science at the University of the South (Sewanee) in 1997, according to LinkedIn. Silvercare's registered address in Nashville is also that of The Buntin Group and Buntin Outdoor, among Nashville's oldest ad agencies. The Seniorcare CEO has no role in The Buntin Group, he said.
