SOCIAL Enterprise Alliance Nashville (link) on July 18 announced eight teams for the 2017 startup training cohort.

The classmates are:

• Doyenne360 - CEO Kristian Kimbro Rickard - Ft. Worth/Nashville - software applications maker targeting the Maker community and social impact.
• Fathom - Founder Joseph Adeola - Nashville - a social-economic youth empowerment program and platform.
• Forward It On - Founder-CEO Walker Morrow - Nashville - Platform connecting donors and charities.
• Keyturn - Co-founder David Bryan - Nashville - end-to-end construction management platform that helps ensure quality work and on-time accurate payment. Team is also part of 2017 Harvard Innovation Labs incubation program.
• Roots of Renewal - Amy Fottrell, exec. dir. - New Orleans community development social enterprise.
• SeekHealing - Jennifer Nicolaisen, exec. dir. - D.C. - Aftercare for opioid and heroin addicts, employing authentic connection and community techniques.
• wearwell - Co-founders Erin Houston + Emily Kenney - D.C. - Aims to improve human rights, environmental practices in apparel supply chain.
• Xcellent Life - CEO Victor Brown - Nashville - Platform support smart sensors enabling biometrics for health and wellness.
